Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Zeng Ting Xing started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dragomir Marchovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 2nd minute of play. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Union Y Progreso F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dragomir Marchovski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dragomir Marchovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Bas Tuitert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Zeng Ting Xing had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeng Ting Xing was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 20th minute of play forced Union Y Progreso F.C.'s goalkeeper Dragomir Marchovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 21st minute. In the 21st minute, Egbert Nijveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dragomir Marchovski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Sueiro in the 24th minute of play. Dragomir Marchovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th match minute, Union Y Progreso F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pan Zheng Li to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragomir Marchovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Union Y Progreso F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Zeng Ting Xing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dragomir Marchovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 48th minute of the match, Carlos Sueiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnout Reekers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Sueiro in the 54th minute of the match. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Dragomir Marchovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Eikelkamp to maneuver through the defense. Dragomir Marchovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Sueiro in the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dragomir Marchovski. Gijsbert ter Kruimer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 68th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dragomir Marchovski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Wim Wilmes in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dragomir Marchovski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 73 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Zeng Ting Xing. But to his dismay, Zeng Ting Xing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeng Ting Xing in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Meruendano came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragomir Marchovski having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Union Y Progreso F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pan Zheng Li. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Meruendano in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dragomir Marchovski narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
