Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Fesner in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asger Søder got free with Arnout Reekers in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nordvest Fodbold's Gabriel Dømel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Eikelkamp in the 26th minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asger Søder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asger Søder kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolai Deleuran in the 33rd minute. Gabriel Dømel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 35th minute of play. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nordvest Fodbold's Gabriel Dømel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 40th minute of play. William Idemo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Nordvest Fodbold players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asger Søder made a kick off. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolai Deleuran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolai Deleuran in the 59th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Gabriel Dømel made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Dømel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Dømel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Fesner in the 69th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Netherlands and the Nordvest Fodbold players grew even worse after the yellow card. 70 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Osvald Fesner came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Dømel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Sigfrid Sternow hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of Nordvest Fodbold booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaaf Groeneveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Dømel having to interfere. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolai Deleuran in the 88th minute of play. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the game, Nordvest Fodbold's Nicolai Deleuran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After having played for 95 minutes, Lars Meesters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Meesters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
