The tension between the Vänersborg SC and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard, long distance shot from Major Barna flew over the goal. In the 15th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stewart Tongs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Major Barna went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Stewart Tongs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Jörgen Gadd hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Major Barna notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vänersborg SC's Stewart Tongs. Stewart Tongs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Tongs having to interfere. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Tongs having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Bobbo Viking stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Bobbo Viking tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Canor Sans made a kick off. Hegedus Henrik struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Stewart Tongs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 63rd minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stewart Tongs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Tongs having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Major Barna got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Stewart Tongs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to Vänersborg SC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Konrad Pålsson hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stewart Tongs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 83 played minutes Vänersborg SC got a freekick which was hit by Canor Sans. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Canor Sans in the 92nd minute of play.
