Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Canor Sans in the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vänersborg SC's Stewart Tongs. Stewart Tongs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bobbo Viking had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bobbo Viking received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stewart Tongs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute, Alf Siöman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vänersborg SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. After 38 played minutes Vänersborg SC got a freekick which was hit by Alf Siöman. Germany's Ulrich Stein suffered a sore thigh after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 43 minutes of play Vänersborg SC's Alf Siöman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Germany made a substitution. Rolf Rothberg replaced Ulrich Stein. Alf Siöman kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vänersborg SC's goalkeeper Stewart Tongs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stewart Tongs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 64 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Örjan Magnusson who took care of the corner kick. Magne Drewitz made a great header on Vänersborg SC's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Tongs having to interfere. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bobbo Viking sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vänersborg SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Tord Alberg in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Willy Stieler. After 95 played minutes Vänersborg SC got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Pålsson. In the 98th minute, Canor Sans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
