After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, Dobromir Barciniak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and Dobromir Barciniak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Slovakia's Henrich Slany proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Slovakia from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute Antoni Felenak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vavrinec Koleno during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Grube Bolki Gizycko made a substitution. Waldemar Borowski replaced Dobromir Barciniak. Vavrinec Koleno kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Stanislaw Orszak fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grube Bolki Gizycko's protests and gave Stanislaw Orszak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Grube Bolki Gizycko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislaw Orszak to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Antoni Felenak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barnaba Zagrobelny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metod Mlynar, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Metod Mlynar came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Slovakia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metod Mlynar couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Antoni Felenak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Henrich Slany, 1-0. Mariusz Furgal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Henrich Slany when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antoni Felenak was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Grube Bolki Gizycko's Antoni Felenak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrich Slany narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Metod Mlynar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Barnaba Zagrobelny made a huge save. In the 59th minute of the game Norbert Balkiewicz made a throw-in which Antoni Felenak played forward. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Borowski in the 66th minute of play. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Furgal in the 67th minute of play. In the 75th minute Norbert Balkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariusz Furgal in the 77th minute of the match. Metod Mlynar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Barnaba Zagrobelny made a huge save. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Norbert Balkiewicz with Antoni Felenak as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Zigmund Maliar got a free kick in the 90th minute. Norbert Balkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Felenak came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Grube Bolki Gizycko players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
