Bartosz Ziemniak had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gijsbert ter Kruimer from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Egbert Nijveldt came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egbert Nijveldt couldn't finish the play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Ler, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Rolando Misael scored 1-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Netherlands walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
