An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubertas Dabkevičius in the 24th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Italy booed when FK Mintis Vilnius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. Zaccheo Andolina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Oliver Can tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Dursun Soysal in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. 95 minutes into the game, Grant Pustak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Mintis Vilnius's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Italy the free kick. A collision led to FK Mintis Vilnius getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Grant Pustak hit a great ball. Siricio Liotta might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Can. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siricio Liotta ran back to his position shaking his head.
