Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Bortzaioriz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th minute, Dragolyub Mantovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Malysz in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cañada Juniors's Jonatan Bortzaioriz. Jonatan Bortzaioriz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25thth minute of the game Frank Lembeck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cañada Juniors were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Lembeck took the corner. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Bortzaioriz having to make a save. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Cañada Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Jonatan Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cañada Juniors booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Meesters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Batista in the 42nd minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Bortzaioriz. Jonatan Bortzaioriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Malysz got free with Arnout Reekers in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Jaunzuria to make the kick off. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Wim Wilmes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonatan Bortzaioriz. That made the score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Jonatan Bortzaioriz in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 69 played minutes Cañada Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Cesaro. Cañada Juniors's Jonatan Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 69th minute of play. Adolfo Batista took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, Cañada Juniors's Vladimiro Bernabel got a free kick in the 75th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Malysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wim Wilmes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Bortzaioriz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Batista in the 90th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Cañada Juniors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
