In the 5th minute, Antal Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes ФК ОВЕЧ got a freekick which was hit by Geno Poptodorov. ФК ОВЕЧ's Juan Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 14th minute of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilyan Kraev in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Metodi Sheyretov was slow to take the kick. During this time ФК ОВЕЧ's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of ФК ОВЕЧ booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balazs Lajos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Geno Poptodorov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play forced ФК ОВЕЧ's goalkeeper Juan Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delyan Latinov kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Estevon having to make a save. Juan Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 37th minute of play. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Juan Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Hungary booed when ФК ОВЕЧ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pencho Beshovishki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bilyan Kraev to strike the kick off in the second half. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Sugoi came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnulfo Sugoi struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ФК ОВЕЧ. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geno Poptodorov in the 74th minute of the match. Juan Estevon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balazs Lajos in the 75th minute. Antal Valentin scored 1-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Estevon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Sugoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Estevon having to interfere. In the 86th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Metodi Sheyretov's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Metodi Sheyretov helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes ФК ОВЕЧ got a freekick which was hit by Metodi Sheyretov. In the 90th match minute, ФК ОВЕЧ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metodi Sheyretov to maneuver through the defense. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, ФК ОВЕЧ's goalkeeper Juan Estevon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
