Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Frank Sachs made the kick off and thus started the match. Gavino Santo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Santo might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gavino Santo ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Santo in the 12th minute of play. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Wöllersdorf's Herbert Vester got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Östen Högberg in the 21st minute. The supporters of FC Wöllersdorf booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavino Santo made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Jörg Schmitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jörg Schmitt fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Wöllersdorf's protests and gave Jörg Schmitt a yellow card for diving instead. Jörg Schmitt hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Dreifuss during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Santo in the 59th minute of play. FC Wöllersdorf's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Herbert Vester in the 60th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Östen Högberg to score against Tommy Kahn in Germany's goal. 3-0 after 60 minutes. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Santo in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of FC Wöllersdorf booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavino Santo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wöllersdorf. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Sven-Ove Frykberg in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chris Mergenthaler was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, one of Germany:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavino Santo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Wöllersdorf's Claas Godescheit got a free kick in the 85th minute. FC Wöllersdorf's Sven-Ove Frykberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 91st minute of play. Gavino Santo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wöllersdorf. Andre Garbsch made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Östen Högberg immediately put the ball in play.
