Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Syd Cullen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Coventry Wasps's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. In the 4th minute, Vörös Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antal Valentin scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Syd Cullen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Billie Whitman. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zack Doughty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Hungary's Takacs Tibor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Syd Cullen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Ferrara in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Booth got free with Fodor Daniel in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Syd Cullen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 36th minute. Hungary's Takacs Tibor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Syd Cullen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Takacs Tibor sped through Coventry Wasps's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Syd Cullen. Syd Cullen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 minutes Coventry Wasps's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Syd Cullen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 50th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Ferrara, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Coventry Wasps were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aleksander Rørvik took the corner. The corner led Coventry Wasps's Aleksander Rørvik to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Coventry Wasps's John Moyle was substituted for Zack Doughty. After 57 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aleksander Rørvik who took care of the corner kick. Aleksander Rørvik made a great header on Coventry Wasps's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. 60 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Ferrara in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Ferrara came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, one of Hungary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 1-4 came in the 74th minute when Aleksander Rørvik all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. 93 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Syd Cullen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Coventry Wasps.
