Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Belgium's corner Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 傅超昆 quite easily take care of the ball. Siebe Michiels who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of 傅超昆 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 57thth minute of the game Miguel Borja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Borja in the 84th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 傅超昆 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 傅超昆 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, 蒋竞榕 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
