Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 10th minute. Hungary's Antal Valentin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 31st minute, Celil Buğrahan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fodor Daniel, passed just outside the right post. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 38th minute of play forced AC Eskisehir's goalkeeper Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. AC Eskisehir's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AC Eskisehir's Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu did a great save. Nacho Morales hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Antal Valentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu. That made the score 0-1 in the 58 minute of play. Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Katona Janos got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Eskisehir's goalkeeper Yağızalp Aktaşoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 minutes of play, AC Eskisehir's Alpertunga Semdin made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th match minute, AC Eskisehir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alpertunga Semdin to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Major Barna.
