Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antal Valentin kicked off to start the match. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Pragmáticos 1903's Zé Carlos Britto managed to reach the ball for a save. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Zé Carlos Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Carlos Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 37th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Pragmáticos 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Alves. 38 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Carlos Britto. Pragmáticos 1903's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 42 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Carlos Britto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferenc Puskás was the one to do the kick off. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Carlos Britto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Zé Carlos Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pragmáticos 1903's Deivid Vergílio was substituted for Tadeu do Nascimento. Zé Carlos Britto came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
