With his leg Wilson Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when ---Atam Osmanlı---'s Haluk Songur fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 33 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yusuf Ziya Özkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yusuf Ziya Özkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 36th minute of the match. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yusuf Ziya Özkan having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 51st minute, 江冰荣 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 严建轩 who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that 严建轩 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilson Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 57 minutes into the match, Caetano Moreira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yusuf Ziya Özkan, 1-1. Caetano Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Yusuf Ziya Özkan made a huge save. ---Atam Osmanlı---'s Yusuf Ziya Özkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 62nd minute of play. Yusuf Ziya Özkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great ball. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Demir Aktaş hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Michael Lövkvist in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. In the 81st minute, Ferry Porsche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Haluk Songur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ---Atam Osmanlı---'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Haluk Songur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustino Almeida made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ---Atam Osmanlı---'s Bogdan Armeanca. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haluk Songur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ---Atam Osmanlı---'s Yusuf Ziya Özkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 86th minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Portugal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
