Hungary's Fodor Daniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Federico Aimar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deuce Athletic Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Aimar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leopoldo Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Ospin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Major Barna in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Ospin saved Deuce Athletic Club from getting behind. Leopoldo Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 37th minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Deuce Athletic Club's Federico Aimar in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. Leopoldo Ospin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 45th minute of the match. If Federico Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Vargas in the 51st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Federico Aimar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Federico Aimar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deuce Athletic Club's Tadeo Iraitz was substituted for Federico Aimar. Balazs Lajos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Leopoldo Ospin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leopoldo Ospin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 69th minute. Placido Natanael hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Leopoldo Ospin in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 76 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balazs Lajos kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Tadeo Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deuce Athletic Club's Leopoldo Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Deuce Athletic Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Leopoldo Ospin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hungary's Major Barna was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Iraitz in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Tadeo Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 92 in the game by Major Barna from a close distance when the talented Leopoldo Ospin managed to make a qualified save. Deuce Athletic Club's players were relieved. In the 94th minute, Elias Selatse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deuce Athletic Club throughout the match.
