Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute Raimundo Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Kees Mooiweer. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Leopoldo Ospin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 21st minute of the match. Leopoldo Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Deuce Athletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Leopoldo Ospin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Deuce Athletic Club's Raimundo Vargas. But to his dismay, Raimundo Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Aimar in the 34th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Aimar in the 35th minute of play. Deuce Athletic Club's Leopoldo Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Ospin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Elias Selatse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deuce Athletic Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Selatse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Aimar hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Deuce Athletic Club's Sebastian Mikolas was substituted for Segundo Felo. Deuce Athletic Club's Tadeo Iraitz was substituted for Federico Aimar. After 56 played minutes Deuce Athletic Club got a freekick which was hit by Federico Aimar. In the 58th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Ospin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Ospin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Leopoldo Ospin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 63 minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Deuce Athletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Tipi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pablo Santo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Ospin was a little too slow when Wim Wilmes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 2-3. Leopoldo Ospin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Deuce Athletic Club's Leopoldo Ospin. Leopoldo Ospin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Netherlands walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
