Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mantorp's Aaron Lundqvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sven-Olof Gummeson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Mantorp booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hegedus Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Olof Gummeson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Aaron Lundqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aaron Lundqvist succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 22nd playminute. 26 minutes into the game, Aaron Lundqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel. Aaron Lundqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Sven-Olof Gummeson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. 37 minutes into the match, Mantorp's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Sven-Olof Gummeson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mantorp's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Sven-Olof Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sven-Olof Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Sven-Olof Gummeson in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anders Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Mantorp's Aaron Lundqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Sven-Olof Gummeson made a huge save. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 81 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg was substituted for Aaron Lundqvist. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Bernt Kihlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Bernt Kihlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven-Olof Gummeson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Bernt Kihlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Evert Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Mantorp were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
