Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the last second Tommy Kahn throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gustav Hybbert in the 22ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 23 minutes into the match, The Skates's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Jens-Ola Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Gustav Hybbert got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 30th minute, Vilhelm Karlstedt made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. A hard shot 33 in the game by Gustav Hybbert from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. Gustav Hybbert's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, The Skates's Hickey Dickey tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Christian Hedling made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alex Ödmann however managed to control. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustav Hybbert in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hickey Dickey got a throw-in 65 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Robert Kalfhage. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Gustav Hybbert put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Hybbert in the 69th minute of play. Frank Sachs's late challenge caught a The Skates's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Sachs helped the player get up and apologised. Frank Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of The Skates booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, The Skates's Alex Ödmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Christian Hedling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Hybbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Ödmann in the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Christian Hedling managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Skates's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Hedling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Germany booed when The Skates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hickey Dickey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Christian Hedling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Skates were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
