Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ilie Enceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilie Enceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Ilie Enceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuele Kunz in the 6th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes FC Ostroveni got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Hanganu. 11 minutes into the match, FC Ostroveni's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Maurer came free, but Silviu Lung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silviu Lung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuele Kunz in the 16th minute of play. Silviu Lung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuele Kunz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Șerban Şteţ hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ostroveni's zone, Jacinto Maurer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silviu Lung came out of the goal and Jacinto Maurer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 minutes, Șerban Şteţ mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ostroveni and the Switzerland players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Șerban Şteţ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuele Kunz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Șerban Şteţ got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Switzerland booed when FC Ostroveni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Şteţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Samuele Kunz made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Ostroveni getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ilie Enceanu hit a great ball. Silviu Lung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuele Kunz in the 66th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Switzerland's Silviu Lung threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Samuele Kunz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 70th minute, Samuele Kunz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silviu Lung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Maurer in the 72nd minute of play. When Switzerland's Samuele Kunz in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ostroveni's goalie prevented a goal. Silviu Lung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuele Kunz, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Silviu Lung made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Maurer in the 81st minute. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuele Kunz in the 89th minute of the match. FC Ostroveni's Luca Buricea got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 98 minutes into the match, FC Ostroveni's goal looked a bit too open when Samuele Kunz came free, but Silviu Lung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Switzerland were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Ostroveni to leave the ground with a draw.
