Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FTU's Christian Svanström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomas Söderquist kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Germany were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after FTU's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. In the 11th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Christoffer Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Christoffer Lindström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Lindström came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Mikael Josefsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Mikael Josefsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Svanström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoffer Lindström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Lindström in the 36th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the game Jorge Harriet made a throw-in which Christian Svanström played forward. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. FTU's Jörn Giliusson got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 56 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Frank Sachs took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Michael Apelkvist to make any attempt to save it. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Lindström in the 71st minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Lindström came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Svanström, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Apelkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germany succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FTU had controlled the match.
