With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Thanos Kalikis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucho Putin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 24th minute. A nice corner shot did that David Eikelkamp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lucho Putin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Thanos Kalikis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Πυργετός Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Thanos Kalikis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Iker Blanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucho Putin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Jon Klein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Thanos Kalikis in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnout Reekers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Song Di Xu made a kick off. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanos Kalikis in the 52nd minute of the match. Song Di Xu took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lucho Putin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Song Di Xu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Tolga Eroğul was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Πυργετός Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. In the 68th minute, Tolga Eroğul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Πυργετός Fc's attentive Iker Blanco managed to snatch the ball when Kees Mooiweer made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Song Di Xu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 94th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucho Putin. The goal made the score 2-1. Netherlands's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Πυργετός Fc had won, even though Netherlands had held more of the ball.
