The corner ended in Severi Nybacka almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. In the 8th minute Tasso FC were awarded a corner. Miguel Sequeira went to the cornerflag to take it. Miguel Sequeira made a great header on Tasso FC's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Urbano in the 9th minute of the match. Waldir Urbano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 13 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldir Urbano. The supporters of Tasso FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, one of Germany:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Tasso FC. Waldir Urbano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tommy Kahn. 3-0. In the 42nd match minute, Tasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Sequeira to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldir Urbano. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Urbano in the 79th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tasso FC made a substitution. Normando Fiúza might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Normando Fiúza ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute Normando Fiúza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Normando Fiúza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tasso FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
