Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgard Maya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Maya came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 minutes, Chris Mergenthaler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Mesere players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Germany fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Mesere. Esteban Theodore stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tommy Kahn. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Mesere's Innocenzio Barcenas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sven Krakouer hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Esteban Theodore took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. In the 32nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Behe Ruisuarez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cai Fei Cheng saved Mesere from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behe Ruisuarez in the 37th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Maya in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Inko Sagrario made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eate Azcaraso however managed to control. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mesere's Edgard Maya. But to his dismay, Edgard Maya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Edgard Maya in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Maya in the 51st minute of play. When Edgard Maya, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 51 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tommy Kahn was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Esteban Theodore charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Theodore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Mesere got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Theodore. With a little luck, Mesere's Cai Fei Cheng got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Inko Sagrario hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Mesere's Xosepin Uruñuela was substituted for Edgard Maya. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Inko Sagrario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mesere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Mesere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inko Sagrario to maneuver through the defense. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Anatoli Búnev in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Linus Schwerner. Albin Holweck's late challenge caught a Mesere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albin Holweck helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 88 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Paquito Berti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mesere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. The supporters of Germany booed when Mesere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paquito Berti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a Mesere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Xosepin Uruñuela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 94th minute of the match Adrian Dreifuss completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 95 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Mesere's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
