In the 14th minute, Felipe Barreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prospero Donzel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 20 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Portugal's Viriato Moura fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Gandia in the 22nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Caetano Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Prospero Donzel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilson Amorim stood somewhat misplaced when Hector-Luis Palomar came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 28 minute. Prometeo Cabada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prometeo Cabada in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector-Luis Palomar in the 39th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SuperFuerza TM's Hector-Luis Palomar got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prospero Donzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Prometeo Cabada capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Prometeo Cabada really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Hector-Luis Palomar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector-Luis Palomar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After having played for 59 minutes, Daniel Pimentel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Pimentel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Hector-Luis Palomar made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector-Luis Palomar in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabián Cañadas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. If Hector-Luis Palomar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector-Luis Palomar's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Hector-Luis Palomar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Hector-Luis Palomar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prospero Donzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The SuperFuerza TM fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when SuperFuerza TM's Hector-Luis Palomar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. SuperFuerza TM's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
