Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giacomo Casanova prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giacomo Casanova saved Montesacro FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Montesacro FC's zone, Zaccheo Andolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giacomo Casanova came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 43rd minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zaccheo Andolina scored 0-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giacomo Casanova, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Giacomo Casanova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 54th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Anthony Del Gatto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Vittori skillfully saved the ball. Zaccheo Andolina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Montesacro FC's Juliusz Julien got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigfrido Auletta. 79 minutes in the game Anthony Del Gatto did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eraldo Di Filippo. Italy's Zaccheo Andolina got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Curto in the 89th minute of play. Zena Busacca hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Rossi in the 95th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Montesacro FC defense, Adriano Curto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giacomo Casanova. The Montesacro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giacomo Casanova should have stopped the shot. Italy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
