Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. Ciccio Graziani kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Fabrice Caillot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 9th minute of play. Stade Ygossais's Ciccio Graziani got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Martial Jay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Martial Jay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabrice Caillot having to make a save. Takacs Tibor hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fabrice Caillot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrice Caillot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 25th minute. Hungary's Katona Janos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabrice Caillot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fabrice Caillot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 39th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Balazs Lajos. In the 44th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Major Barna to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Martial Jay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stade Ygossais's supporters rose to their feet, but Martial Jay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martial Jay to strike the kick off in the second half. Jean Kahn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 51 minutes into the match, Stade Ygossais's Jean Kahn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Stade Ygossais booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martial Jay in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Fabrice Caillot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. With a little luck, Stade Ygossais's Fabrice Caillot got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Stade Ygossais's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrice Caillot came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean-Philippe Barge charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean-Philippe Barge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Stade Ygossais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Philippe Barge to maneuver through the defense. Fabrice Caillot made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 74th minute of play forced Stade Ygossais's goalkeeper Fabrice Caillot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabrice Caillot. Stade Ygossais's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fabrice Caillot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Fabrice Caillot in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Balazs Lajos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabrice Caillot firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Belon in the 89th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Major Barna. The supporters of Hungary booed when Stade Ygossais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martial Jay didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Hungary supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hungary would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
