Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Major Barna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Avantchê's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Hungary's Antal Valentin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fausto do Valle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Abraão got free with Fodor Daniel in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 minutes Avantchê's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Hungary's Antal Valentin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fausto do Valle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. The supporters of Avantchê booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Abraão in the 59th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Avantchê were awarded a corner. Douglas Cardoso went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcelo Dejean kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Douglas Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Hungary failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
