Cazimir Slătineanu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Ulvis Cetmens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toms Felss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Zigismunds Piekalns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Antal Valentin hit a great ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Silvanito in the 19th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when German Silvanito sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Antal Valentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toms Felss was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 25th minute. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Toms Felss despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, GAUJA's Zigismunds Piekalns got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, GAUJA's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Toms Felss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toms Felss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toms Felss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toms Felss. Toms Felss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after GAUJA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. The supporters of Hungary booed when GAUJA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Margots Kornieks didn't get a good kick on the ball. The GAUJA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Toms Felss made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 54th minute. Toms Felss made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, GAUJA's goalkeeper Toms Felss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. In the 71st match minute, GAUJA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Silvanito to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when German Silvanito came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Silvanito in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Toms Felss made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in GAUJA's zone, Balazs Lajos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toms Felss came out of the goal and Balazs Lajos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When GAUJA's German Silvanito in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Toms Felss made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Toms Felss in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toms Felss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The GAUJA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
