The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Sachs made the kick off which started today's match. Bo Bek hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Zawacki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 10 in the game by Dominik Zawacki from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. Dominik Zawacki had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 13th minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Zenon Niezywy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Dominik Zawackis short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominik Zawacki's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Čuk was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kraków1983's players had a chance to rest. Juan Čuk made a great header on FC Kraków1983's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Tommy Kahn stood somewhat misplaced when Dominik Zawacki came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 28 minute. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominik Zawacki went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Dominik Zawacki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 43rd minute Juan Čuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match, Dominik Zawacki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zenon Niezywy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dominik Zawacki to make the kick off. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Zawacki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juan Čuk who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Olgierd Osowski drilling the ball in to score 4-0 behind Germany's goalkeeper. In the 58th minute Dominik Zawacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kraków1983's Fryderyk Motowski. But to his dismay, Fryderyk Motowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 65 minutes into the match, FC Kraków1983's goalkeeper Zenon Niezywy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. In the 66thth minute of the game Dominik Zawacki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Zawacki in the 67th minute of play. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominik Zawacki's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Dominik Zawacki sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Zawacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Zawacki in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 89th minute, Fryderyk Motowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FC Kraków1983 fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when FC Kraków1983's Dominik Zawacki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Kraków1983 fully deserved thier win.
