But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Jilek couldn't finish the play. 庄岩棋 had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Erik Jilek's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 29th minute, Czech Republic's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after 康洲志 fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 32 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Denis Dostal. Vavrinec Holub yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0.
