After a defensive mix-up in Kanalie's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Bugno came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dobromir Lampa got free with Tommy Kahn in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pankracy Bugno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Dobromir Lampa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Maksymilian Cisek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kanalie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Barowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pankracy Bugno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Borys Barowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dobromir Lampa in the 29th minute. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Germany:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kanalie:s goal. 2-0 came through a penalty shot after 42 played minutes, when Kanalie:s Korneliusz Logewnik calmly waited for Germany:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Barowicz in the 51st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Kanalie's Andrzej Dobrowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kanalie's Tytus Bochinski got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tytus Bochinski in the 62nd minute of play. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Bugno having to interfere. In the 86th minute Borys Barowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Rasimowicz came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dobromir Lampa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Barowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Kanalie players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
