The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Bugno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kanalie's goalkeeper Pankracy Bugno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 13th minute of play forced Kanalie's goalkeeper Pankracy Bugno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Borys Barowicz came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Kanalie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borys Barowicz couldn't finish the play. Korneliusz Logewnik's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Korneliusz Logewnik helped the player get up and apologised. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pankracy Bugno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 17th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Bugno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Bugno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dobromir Lampa in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fodor Daniel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Borys Barowicz got free with Fodor Daniel in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pankracy Bugno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 32nd minute of play. Vörös Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Kanalie's goal looked a bit too open when Vörös Henrik came free, but Pankracy Bugno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pankracy Bugno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 39th minute of the match. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dobromir Lampa made the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Barowicz in the 50th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Bochinski in the 52nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Bugno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dobromir Lampa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After having played for 66 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Bugno having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Balazs Lajos got a free kick in the 77th minute. Tytus Bochinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Bochinski in the 78th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Kanalie getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Augustin Piț hit a great ball. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobromir Lampa in the 85th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Kanalie's corner Tytus Bochinski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. When Kanalie's Borys Barowicz in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. Szekeres Tamas kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Lampa in the 95th minute of play. The Hungary supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hungary would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
