Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Viriato Moura kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Almeida to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Antoni Villarroel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Antoni Villarroel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Antoni Villarroel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Viriato Moura put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alejandro Verdu. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Verdu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Verdu was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Portugal's Daniel Pimentel to fire away a dangerous shot which Alejandro Verdu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Pimentel scored 1-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Verdu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Neal Messer came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Alejandro Verdu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Neal Messer might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Neal Messer ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Neal Messer came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Federico Zanetti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. When Federico Zanetti came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Zanetti couldn't finish the play. Gonzalo Boye kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Verdu was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Neal Messer to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Neal Messer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA made a substitution. Marino Ramos replaced Marc Vilaplana. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antoni Villarroel's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Antoni Villarroel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. After 70 minutes of play, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Antoni Villarroel made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Toni Soler. But to his dismay, Toni Soler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. In the 77th minute of the match, Felipinho Amorim tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alejandro Verdu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 79th minute of the match, Bartolomeu Dias got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alejandro Verdu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 84th minute, Antoni Villarroel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA made a substitution. Joan Puig replaced Gică Popescu. Alejandro Verdu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA had won after a very even match.
