The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Skarpa Ełk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Germany:s goal. The referee gave Germany a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frank Sachs, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Skarpa Ełk's Ken Kot. 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Ken Kot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 56th minute of play. Ken Kot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Skarpa Ełk players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
