Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emmanuel Gigliotti started the match with the kick off. Bruno Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Romulo Ekaitz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 7th minute, Viriato Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Júlio Viveiros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esequiel Barco in the 16th minute. Felipe Barreto scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lin Mo Hong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when Júlio Viveiros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-1. Thanks to some nice moves Emmanuel Gigliotti could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Wilson Amorim however easily saved by the left post. In the 26th minute, Felipe Barreto made a precise shot to the right of Lin Mo Hong. Curumalán AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Viveiros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilson Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Júlio Viveiros slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 36th minute. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lin Mo Hong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Curumalán AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Lin Mo Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Curumalán AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Lin Mo Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lin Mo Hong. Lin Mo Hong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. 47 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Lin Mo Hong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 3-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emmanuel Gigliotti in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Júlio Viveiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caetano Moreira's late challenge caught a Curumalán AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano Moreira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Moreira to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Júlio Viveiros made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-4. 67 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Gigliotti came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match Curumalán AFC got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romulo Ekaitz ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 72nd minute, Emmanuel Gigliotti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-4. Curumalán AFC's Lautaro Barahona was substituted for Emmanuel Gigliotti. Curumalán AFC made a substitution. Serhat Akın replaced Júlio Viveiros. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lautaro Barahona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esequiel Barco, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Lin Mo Hong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 94th minute. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
