Croatia were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after 广西玉林剑羚队's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Toni Mauzer took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Fernando Cardoso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ilija Skugor. That made the score 2-2 in the 20 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Croatia's zone, Carlos Fernando Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal and Carlos Fernando Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvije Santek hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 广西玉林剑羚队's Carlos Fernando Cardoso was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ilija Skugor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Fernando Cardoso in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 秦超真 in the 35th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, 秦超真 took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Ilija Skugor to make any attempt to save it. 40 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando Cardoso came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes, Damir Pongrac mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Croatia and the 广西玉林剑羚队 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damir Pongrac kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Ilija Skugor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Fernando Cardoso in the 45th minute. Croatia's Martin Bosak got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dinko Stankovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. 徐兴克 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute 秦超真 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 乔风晨 in the 57th minute of the match. 广西玉林剑羚队's 徐兴克 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Bosak in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match Croatia got a corner. 广西玉林剑羚队's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Toni Mauzer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 乔风晨, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Damir Pongrac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 许源超 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 乔风晨 in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilija Skugor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ilija Skugor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 武志林 went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando Cardoso in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Martin Bosak got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Toni Mauzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 广西玉林剑羚队 fully deserved thier win.
