Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zaccheo Andolina got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Flavio Gonchan hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of La Gallardeta's Nacho Gonzalez. Nacho Gonzalez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sostene Vitulli's late challenge caught a La Gallardeta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sostene Vitulli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Sostene Vitulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of La Gallardeta booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sostene Vitulli didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Rossi in the 26th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Dalmacio Gartzea in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. 30 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Haimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. La Gallardeta's Nacho Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute of play. Nacho Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 40th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Zena Busacca. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

52 minutes into the match, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nacho Gonzalez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Nacho Gonzalez in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 56 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Gartzea. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Haimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute Amado Chayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Chayo in the 64th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Rossi in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. In the 74th minute Paolo Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Chayo came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Sigfrido Auletta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Gallardeta's Fernando Dantae was substituted for Paolo Rossi. After a rather tough play, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. 84 minutes in the game Dalmacio Gartzea did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Amado Chayo. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 93rd minute of play. Nacho Gonzalez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adriano Curto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 95 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Italy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
