After 9 minutes, Olavo Diniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jundiaí -DMZ- and the ManagerZone Crew players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes, ManagerZone Crew's Adrian Våleman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Almir Severo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ManagerZone Crew reached it. In the 11th match minute, ManagerZone Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorsten Dietz to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Barış Erensoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Armstrong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barış Erensoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Armstrong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Marcus Majewski kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Patrick Armstrong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jardel Batista went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 33 minutes, Jardel Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jardel Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Almir Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 43rd minute of play forced Jundiaí -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Almir Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almir Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Våleman, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Linkhorst to make the kick off. The supporters of Jundiaí -DMZ- booed when ManagerZone Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Majewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Armstrong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Almir Severo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adrian Våleman. In the 62nd minute, one of Jundiaí -DMZ-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jundiaí -DMZ-. Jardel Batista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrick Armstrong having to make a save. If Jardel Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Edmundo Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jundiaí -DMZ-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Armstrong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmundo Hermes hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Adrian Våleman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Severo having to interfere. The ManagerZone Crew players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Jundiaí -DMZ- from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
