The Fiume Veneto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Addari should have stopped the shot. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Graziano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Fiume Veneto were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
