Rab Cura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 6th minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rab Cura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, RODOS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Rab Cura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lakis Traganitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rab Cura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 17th minute, Gomberto Picozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes RODOS F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Cutri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rab Cura quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to RODOS F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Candido Mitxaut hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Sigfrido Auletta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rab Cura was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 27th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rab Cura was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 29th minute, Porziano Marchitelli made a precise shot to the right of Rab Cura. RODOS F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Rab Cura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcin Wawro was the one to do the kick off. Rab Cura was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Zaccheo Andolina capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zaccheo Andolina really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. In the 58th minute Dimitris Venieris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in RODOS F.C.'s zone, Zaccheo Andolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rab Cura came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
