Despite this Andy Renner quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Soldeu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Soldeu's goalie and right to Hegedus Henrik. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Soldeu's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scott Le Saux, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scott Le Saux in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damien Fowler got free with Fodor Daniel in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damien Fowler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balazs Lajos in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andy Renner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andy Renner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hegedus Henrik's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After 32 minutes of play, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andy Renner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andy Renner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andy Renner saved FC Soldeu from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Damien Fowler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Andy Renner in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Andy Renner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Soldeu fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when FC Soldeu's Scott Le Saux looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Andy Renner made a huge save. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Osvaldas Jasiūnas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Damien Fowler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Damien Fowler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hegedus Henrik hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The FC Soldeu players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
