Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zaccheo Andolina got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wen Ke Yan. After 8 played minutes Stars got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Willig. In the 13th minute Jonathan Siong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Muhammad Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Seng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Siong got free with Flavio Vittori in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Stars defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Muhammad Chan. The Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Muhammad Chan should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Jonathan Siong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Siong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wen Ke Yan got free with Flavio Vittori in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wen Ke Yan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Siong, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute Wen Ke Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

During this time Stars's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Siong in the 67th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Porziano Marchitelli came free, but Muhammad Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stars's Muhammad Chan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 70th minute of play. Muhammad Chan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 77th minute. In the 83rd minute Wen Ke Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Jonathan Siong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and Jonathan Siong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. In the 95th minute, Siricio Liotta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Italy were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
