Doru Crăiniceanu scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Văcăroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Maerschalk kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Vali Jușcă hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Denmark's Chris Nygaard tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Denmark booed when -BZF- The Elder Gods was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Rusu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by -BZF- The Elder Gods's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Mikkel Wulff got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Liviu Văcăroiu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 32nd match minute, -BZF- The Elder Gods was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vali Jușcă to maneuver through the defense. Liviu Văcăroiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 41st minute of play forced -BZF- The Elder Gods's goalkeeper Liviu Văcăroiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Doru Crăiniceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. -BZF- The Elder Gods's Călin Colceriu was substituted for Costel Năstase. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Crăiniceanu in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, -BZF- The Elder Gods's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Liviu Văcăroiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When -BZF- The Elder Gods's Doru Crăiniceanu in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iulian Bidulescu couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liviu Văcăroiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute of the match Denmark got a corner. -BZF- The Elder Gods's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chris Nygaard succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertram Svenningsen in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liviu Văcăroiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Crăiniceanu came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vali Jușcă during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Denmark's Lars Steen got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Cerghizan hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- The Elder Gods's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liviu Văcăroiu came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
