Yavuzalp Sağanalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micah Macdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kyle Cox to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Samsunspor got a freekick which was hit by Anıl Ege Devlet. In the 54th minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuzalp Sağanalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yavuzalp Sağanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Issac Dawson in the 56th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Kyle Cox took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Yavuzalp Sağanalp to make any attempt to save it. In the 64th minute, England's Kyle Cox dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. In the 67th minute, Issac Dawson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Cooper Thompson. Yavuzalp Sağanalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caelan Hayes in the 73rd minute of the match. Yavuzalp Sağanalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 76th minute of play. If Micah Macdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Samsunspor's Habib Kutlar got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Leighton Davies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samsunspor's Yavuzalp Sağanalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Samsunspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mecnun Başer to maneuver through the defense. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. England's Caelan Hayes got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuzalp Sağanalp having to interfere. If Micah Macdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Samsunspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. England were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
