Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Guus Zalm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guus Zalm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 8 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Bakos Endre. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, Albert Fitzgerald recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel. Albert Fitzgerald showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Hungary booed when CAFC1905 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Cayron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guus Zalm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. CAFC1905's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Takacs Tibor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guus Zalm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guus Zalm having to interfere. Guus Zalm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. CAFC1905's Guus Zalm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 35th minute of play. Major Barna took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guus Zalm. Guus Zalm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. After a rather tough play, CAFC1905's Andre Arshavin got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of CAFC1905's Guus Zalm. Guus Zalm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albert Fitzgerald was the one to do the kick off. Ray Titmuss's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ray Titmuss helped the player get up and apologised. Ray Titmuss hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Guus Zalm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Norbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hegedus Henrik got free with Guus Zalm in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guus Zalm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Balazs Norbert's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Guus Zalm skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Norbert got free with Guus Zalm in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hungary's Balazs Lajos got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CAFC1905 made a substitution. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guus Zalm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, CAFC1905's Ray Titmuss got a free kick in the 90th minute. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Fitzgerald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
