In the 15th minute CAFC1905 were awarded a corner. Cecilio Fagildo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Cecilio Fagildo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 18th minute. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ross Ingram in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute of the match, Albert Fitzgerald got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 45th minute, CAFC1905's Norman Brent ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Albert Fitzgerald made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ray Titmuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Albert Fitzgerald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ross Ingram, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. After 66 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 70th minute. CAFC1905's Itzhak Gilaon was substituted for Norman Brent. When Itzhak Gilaon came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the CAFC1905 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Itzhak Gilaon couldn't finish the play. CAFC1905's Guus Zalm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save CAFC1905 from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Itzhak Gilaon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Itzhak Gilaon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CAFC1905's Gregory Tompkins was substituted for Ross Ingram. When Germany's Frank Sachs, in the 85th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Itzhak Gilaon went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the game, Itzhak Gilaon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Albert Fitzgerald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CAFC1905 fully deserved thier win.
