Nicolas Olejmeulen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Nicolas Olejmeulen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. A collision led to Sputchi FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ulf Hamnberg hit a great ball. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Magnus Tidén in the 21st minute. A collision led to Sputchi FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Svante Lundblad hit a great ball. The supporters of Sputchi FC booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sputchi FC's Karl-Magnus Tidén shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fodor Daniel but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Sputchi FC's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Olejmeulen came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baba Hassan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Olejmeulen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Magnus Tidén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Sputchi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Hamnberg to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Magnus Tidén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Villiam Forsberg came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Magnus Tidén struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sputchi FC. If Villiam Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Villiam Forsberg in the 75th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sputchi FC made a substitution. Kjell Haström replaced Svante Lundblad. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Olejmeulen having to interfere. Harald Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Olejmeulen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Olejmeulen having to interfere. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
