An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 51st minute of play forced Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s goalkeeper Lara Guadalupi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fabricio Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Andrade couldn't finish the play. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Portugal's Faustino Almeida getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Celso Vander was substituted for Javier Loco. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Daniel Pimentel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lara Guadalupi firmly grabbed it by the left post. 71 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho de Barros came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
