The Gotham City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michael Lundin made a kick off. 贺德凌 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 贺德凌 could save by the left post. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Gotham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Ellis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, 贺德凌 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gotham City's 贺德凌 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 74th minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Daniel Wennerström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 贺德凌 made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 贺德凌. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. After 86 minutes of play, Gotham City's Arne Wennerqvist made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! 贺德凌 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
